A. Van Dyke Productions is excited to welcome you to the

Miss Black Georgia USA Crown Search—an open casting experience designed to discover confident, purpose-driven young women who are ready to lead, serve, and compete for one of the most prestigious titles in Black pageantry.

If you believe you have what it takes, this is your opportunity to

earn your invitation to the state stage.

Complete this registration form and submit your $100 Application Fee 

to start the registration process.

Contestants selected through The Crown Search will receive an official invitation to compete in the next Miss Black Georgia USA State Pageant.

If selected, look out for an email with next steps and be prepared to pay a deposit of $450 due by 48 hours after receiving your invitation email or by February 28, 2027 (whichever comes first), and the remaining $350 contestant fee balance plus the $350 production fee is due no later than August 6, 2027.

Please note that all audition fees, contestant fees, and any additional payments made to A. Van Dyke Productions and/or the Miss Black Georgia USA Pageants are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Crown Search Timeline

Early Bird Applications Open: August 8, 2026

Early Bird Applications Close: December 31, 2026

GA Open Call Audition: Tentatively March 20, 2027

Applications Close: August 6, 2027

AR, GA, MS, & TN Mandatory Workshop Weekend:

September 3-5, 2027 | Atlanta, GA

State Pageant Weekend: Tentatively November 2027

  1. As a Black queen, representation extends far beyond the crown. How do you intend to use this title to challenge prevailing stereotypes and redefine standard perceptions of beauty and leadership?

  2. We stand on the shoulders of incredible trailblazers who fought for our voices to be heard. If you could sit down with one Black historical figure, who would it be, and what advice would you ask them to guide your reign?

  3. In a world that often tries to foster division, Black pageantry centers on collective upliftment. How will you cultivate genuine sisterhood among your peers and empower the young girls looking up to you

  4. Our communities face unique systemic challenges, from educational inequities to health disparities. What is the most critical issue facing your generation today, and what specific action plan will you deploy if crowned? 5The crown does not make the queen; the queen makes the crown. Look beyond your bio and paperwork; what intrinsic quality makes you uniquely qualified to be the face of this organization?



Application Fee

The $100 application fee is included in the $900 contestant entry fee. The $100 application fee is due when the online application is submitted to be considered as a contestant.
