  2. Resides in the State of Georgia

  3. Black, African American, or of African Descent

  4. Is between the ages of 5 and 17 years old as of September 1, 2027.

  5. Be Available to Compete Tentatively on Saturday, September 4, 2027 in Albany, GA

A. Van Dyke Productions is pleased to announce The 2027 Little Miss Black Georgia & South Carolina Pageant​ Princess Program.

This pageant is semi-glitz - which means we are a happy medium between natural and glitz. We will also have an opening parade of contestants, which will consist of the contestants in the pageant provided t-shirt and denim or white bottoms of your choice. 

If we fill all available spots, the pageant will also provide the bottoms needed to wear during opening parade.

 

Opening Parade: All contestants should wear a white or denim bottom with the provided pageant T-shirt. Contestants are welcome to dress up their t-shirt as they wish. HOWEVER, DO NOT CUT, BLEACH, ALTER, OR CUSTOMIZE THE PROVIDED T-SHIRT IN ANY FORM OR FASHION. It is okay to tie up the sleeves with a ribbon or bows, but do not make any changes which will require glue, tape, glitter, stones, or adhesive directly applied to the

t-shirt. T-shirts will be issued at check-in the day of the pageant. A photo of the t-shirt will be shared 1 to 2 weeks after applications have closed. Opening parade is not scored, but it is when we announce all the contestants to the audience.

 

Beauty (Gown): All contestants should wear a pageant dress of their choice. Dresses may be short or long. Contestants may wear age-appropriate make-up (for stage) and hair. The walk pattern, will be provided shortly after applications close on July 31, 2027.

 

Michael Jackson Inspired Outfit of Choice: All contestants should choose a Michael Jackson Inspired outfit that creatively showcases her personality and inner fashionista. Be creative! BUT! Remember age-appropriateness.  

 

Viewer’s Choice: All contestants will have the opportunity to participate in viewer’s choice. Using their official headshot photos, supporters will be able to vote for them online. The winner of the viewer’s choice award will receive a custom prize package (TBD). Viewer’s choice is separate from the photogenic competition.


Fees: Registration fee for the Little Miss Black Georgia & South Carolina Pageant​ Princess Program is $350 which includes the $175 deposit, a rhinestone pageant t-shirt, pre-pageant meal, entry fee to compete, a curated swag bag of products.

Please understand that the contestant deposit and all additional fees paid to The Little Miss Emerging Royalty Pageant and/or A. Van Dyke Productions are non-refundable and non-transferrable.

I hereby grant A. Van Dyke Productions and/or The Little Miss Black Georgia/South Carolina Pageant to release my likeness to the local media outlets, allowed by A. Van Dyke Productions and/or The Little Miss Black Georgia/South Carolina Pageant, to identify the appropriate media and release the information about my participation as a sponsor.

Liability Waiver & Consent for Treatment

  1. understand that my participation as a sponsor/vendor shall refer to any travel, workshop/curricula, or event within the A. Van Dyke Productions and/or The Little Miss Black Georgia/South Carolina Pageant,

  2. do hereby understand the nature of my participation as a sponsor/vendor, and I release A. Van Dyke Productions and/or The Little Miss Black Georgia/South Carolina Pageant to include all its administrators, members, directors, agents, officers, volunteers, sponsors, partners, affiliates, and/or employees from all liability for any unintentional injuries sustained during my participation as a sponsor/vendor.

  3. do consent to emergency medical treatment in the event of such an emergency, given that emergency contacts cannot be reached,

  4. understand that A. Van Dyke Productions and/or The Little Miss Black Georgia/South Carolina Pageant, or its affiliates does not provide insurance for sponsors/participants/vendors and any bill incurred due to emergency treatment will be my responsibility. I also certify that I am covered by insurance that will cover any treatment caused by injury and if not that I am solely responsible for payment of any bill incurred due to emergency treatment and that myself and/or my insurance company only are responsible for payment of such treatment.

  5. and that I certify that the above information is true and accurate.

General Risk of Injury

I acknowledge and understand that there is a risk of injury involved in various situations. I agree to follow the rules and the instructions of A. Van Dyke Productions and/or The Little Miss Black Georgia/South Carolina Pageant to reduce the risk of injury to myself and others. However, I acknowledge and understand that A. Van Dyke Productions and/or The Little Miss Black Georgia/South Carolina Pageant cannot eliminate the risk of general injury. Injuries may and do occur. Injuries can be severe and, in some cases, may result in permanent disability or even death. I freely, knowingly, and willfully accept and assume the risk of injury that might occur from participation in the A. Van Dyke Productions and/or The Little Miss Black Georgia/South Carolina Pageant.

By selecting “I Understand & Agree” above, I agree that I have fully read, understand, and agree to the conditions set forth below, and submit such choice as a binding signature of agreement:

I acknowledge and agree that, during the Little Miss Black Georgia/South Carolina Pageant Pageant and any corresponding events hosted by A. Van Dyke Productions, I may be subject to all rules and procedures set forth by the A. Van Dyke Productions and/or The Little Miss Black Georgia/South Carolina Pageant. I acknowledge and agree that I am responsible for informing appropriate personnel of any medical needs and authorize A. Van Dyke Productions and/or The Little Miss Black Georgia/South Carolina Pageant's personnel, or other event officials, to take all medical actions they believe necessary until such time as a family or otherwise be contacted. I acknowledge and agree that A. Van Dyke Productions and/or The Little Miss Black Georgia/South Carolina Pageant, its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, and volunteers do not have or assume any liability for damages, losses, or injuries I may encounter as a result of my participating as a sponsor for A. Van Dyke Productions and/or The Little Miss Black Georgia/South Carolina Pageant. I acknowledge and agree that any revocation of permission given by this form can only be in writing and must be delivered to the appropriate event officials to be effective.
