The Little Miss Black Georgia Pageant is an official fundraiser pageant for the Miss Black Georgia USA Scholarship Pageant. Winners will have opportunities to participate in appearances and other activities with the Miss Black Georgia USA state Queens for one calendar year from day of crowning.

This pageant is semi-glitz - which means we are a happy medium between natural and glitz. We will also have an opening parade of contestants, which will consist of the contestants in the pageant provided t-shirt and denim or white bottoms.

Opening Parade: All contestants should wear a white or denim bottom with the provided royal blue pageant T-shirt. Contestants are welcome to dress up their t-shirt as they wish. HOWEVER, DO NOT CUT, BLEACH, ALTER, OR CUSTOMIZE THE PROVIDED T-SHIRT IN ANY FORM OR FASHION. It is okay to tie up the sleeves with a ribbon or bows, but do not make any changes which will require glue, glitter, stones, or adhesive directly applied to the t-shirt. T-shirts will be issued at check-in. A photo of the t-shirt will be shared 1 to 2 weeks after applications have closed. Opening parade is not scored. Contestants will simply walk in a large circle per division and be introduced one-by-one to the audience. It is suggested to come almost ready to the theatre. Once they exit the stage, contestants will get ready for State Wear.

State Wear: All contestants should choose an outfit that creatively showcases the State of Georgia, a staple of Georgia, or the Georgia city or county they live in. Be creative! BUT! Remember age-appropriateness. A favorite state wear award will be awarded in each division.

Beauty (Gown) & On-Stage Question: All contestants should wear a pageant dress of their choice. Dresses may be short or long. Contestants may wear age-appropriate make-up (for stage) and hair. There is not a specified walk pattern. A “T” pattern or circle pattern is suggested, but the pattern of choice is not judged. Young Miss (8-9 years) and Junior Miss (10-12) contestants will all answer a simple onstage question. On-stage questions will be asked at the back center mark of the stage as they enter the stage. They will do their walk for Beauty after completing their answer.

Viewer’s Choice: All contestants will have the opportunity to participate in viewer’s choice March 20-30, 2025. Using their photo submitted with their application, supporters will be able to vote online at $1 per vote. There will be ONE overall viewer’s choice award winner in the entire pageant. The winner of the viewer’s choice award will receive a portion of the proceeds in a cash prize. Viewer’s choice is separate from the photogenic award that is awarded for each age group.

Optional Talent: LITTLE MISS, YOUNG MISS, & JUNIOR MISS contestants can participate in our optional Talent Competition. Talent can be a MINIMUM of 90 seconds up to a MAX 3 minutes. There will be ONE overall Optional Talent award winner in the entire pageant. The winner of the Optional Talent award will receive a sash and crown and opportunities to participate in appearances with our State Queens.
